Usage:
3508 and 3512 Generator Set And Marine Engines
Description of Change: A diode has been added to the overspeed alarm system on the above engines that are equipped with the overspeed alarm and the electric shutoff. There have been reports that the remote overspeed light and LED on the speed switch showed an indication of an overspeed condition after the engine had been stopped normally. The diode corrects this condition. The diode is connected to the resistor, that has the red and white wire, in the overspeed system junction box. See the illustration.
Adaptable To: The new 2W4899 Diode is adaptable to all 3508 and 3512 Generator Set and Marine Engines equipped with the electric shutoff and overspeed controls.
