Description of Change: New main and connecting rod bearings for D353 Engines have a thicker layer of lead-tin overlay (surface material) to extend the service life of the bearings. Other improvements have been made at the same time, including an increase in the "crush" of the connecting rod bearings for a tighter fit in the connecting rods, and the use of a high-strength aluminum for the main bearings.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement as shown in the chart. The former bearings are canceled.
