Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the fumes disposal group.

1. Remove bolt (2). Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and position the hose assemblies out of the way.

2. Loosen clamp assemblies (3) and (6).

3. Disconnect two harness assemblies (5).

4. Remove three bolts (4) and remove exhaust gas valve (7).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the exhaust gas valve in reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten clamp assembly (6) to a torque of 8.5 ± 2 N·m (75 ± 18 lb in).
