Kapasitas sistem pelumasan engine mencakup kapasitas filter oli yang dipasang di pabrik. Sistem filter oli bantu (bila terpasang) akan membutuhkan lebih banyak oli. Rujuk ke spesifikasi yang diberikan oleh OEM sistem filter oli bantu.

Untuk merawat sistem pendinginan, kapasitas total sistem pendinginan harus ditentukan. Kapasitas total sistem pendinginan bervariasi menurut pemasangan. Kapasitas total sistem pendinginan dapat terdiri dari komponen berikut: engine, tangki ekspansi, heat exchanger, radiator, cooler lunas, dan pipa.
Rujuk ke spesifikasi yang disediakan oleh Caterpillar atau OEM pemasangan. Catat kapasitas total sistem pendinginan dalam Tabel yang benar.
