Removal Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

2. Disconnect coupling assemblies (2), coupling assemblies (3), and tube assemblies (1).

3. Remove bolts (4) and guard assemblies (5).

5. Remove bolts (7).

6. Remove bolts (9). guard assembly (8), and guard assembly (10).

7. Remove bolts (11), bolts (13), bolt (14), and brace assembly (12).

9. Remove belts (19). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts-Inspect/Replace" to remove and install the belts.

10. Use a suitable lifting device to remove blower fan assembly (21), guard assembly (22), and fan adapter (24). The combined weight of blower fan assembly (21), guard assembly (22), and fan adapter (24) is approximately 400 kg (882 lb).

11. Remove bolts (20), bolts (23) blower fan assembly (21), guard assembly (22), and fan adapter (24).

Installation Procedure

1. Install fan drive (29) in the reverse order of removal.
