Engine News, REBD0003, 14, August 2015, A Connector With A New Cap Is Now Used On The Engine Interface Box For Certain G3500B Engines. Disregard the information in the article that is listed above. Refer to the information in the following article.

Description Of Change: The connector being used utilizes a new cap to prevent moisture from entering the connector and causing corrosion.

Adaptable To: Engines with the potted style interface box connectors need to replace the previous box harness assembly with the new 394-1129 Box Harness As. Engines with the non-potted style interface box connectors need to replace the previous receptacle assemblies with the new 432-4214 Receptacle As and 233-9227 Sockets.

Table 1 contains the part numbers needed for this change. Table 2 contains the effective engine serial numbers.
