Crankcase Breather - Remove and Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Remove clamps (2) and tee hose (3).
- Remove clamp (8), clamp (9), crankcase breather (1), and crankcase breather (4).
- Remove clamp (6) and elbow hose (5).
- Remove clamp (10) and crankcase breather (7).

- Install crankcase breather (7), crankcase breather (4), and crankcase breather (1) in the reverse order of removal.
- Lubricate the bore of crankcase breather (7), crankcase breather (4), and crankcase breather (1) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
- Tighten clamp (10), clamp (9), and clamp (8) to a torque of
7 ± 1 N·m (60 ± 9 lb in) . - Tighten clamp (6) and clamps (2) to a torque of
3 ± 1 N·m (27 ± 9 lb in) .
