New Software for the Soot Reading Strategy on C7.1 Generator Set {1920}
- Generator Set:
- C7.1 (S/N: MRP1-1,101-127,129-583,603-627)
Description of Change: New engine software has been introduced to address an artificial soot rate increase that can shut down the power module while in operation. This situation will disconnect the customer load.
The new software also has the following effects:
- Elimination of the 677-7 Start Relay Open Circuit diagnostic code.
- Low speed regeneration can now continue when engine speed increases to 1600 rpm.
