An Improved Damper Group Is Used on Certain C175 Marine, Petroleum, and Locomotive Engines {1205}

- C175-16 (S/N: M6A1-UP; Y3A1-UP; P6L1-UP; P5P1-UP; KWT1-UP; R1X1-UP; 3A91-UP)
Description of Change: The improved damper group has an alignment mark added to the front of the damper. This mark will ensure proper clocking of the damper during assembly.
Note: If the previous version of the damper group is installed, do not use the previous damper as a reference for setting valve lash.
Adaptable To: The improved damper group replaces the existing damper group and is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above. Refer to Table 1 for a list of the improved damper part numbers.
