Description of Change: A new improved cast iron housing eliminates thermostat seat wear.
Adaptable To: The new cast iron 343-7202 Regulator Housing As (Water temperature) is a direct replacement for the old aluminum 343-7202 Regulator Housing As (Water temperature).
The new cast iron thermostat housing is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above. The change to the new 343-7202 Regulator Housing As (Water temperature) is effective at the factory with the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
