Battery Disconnect Switch
Po zastavení motoru vyčkejte alespoň 2 minuty, než otočíte odpojovací vypínač akumulátoru do polohy VYPNUTO. Příliš brzké odpojení napájení z akumulátoru po vypnutí motoru zabrání vypuštění potrubí kapaliny do výfuku dieselového motoru (DEF). Během těchto 2 minut je též aktivní elektronický řídicí modul (ECM) motoru, který ukládá informace od snímačů motoru a systému dodatečné úpravy.
Neumožní-li se provedení vypuštění kapaliny DEF, může dojít k poškození systému kapaliny DEF. Neponechá-li se modulu ECM motoru dostatečná doba k uložení informací od snímačů, může dojít k poškození systému řízení emisí.
