检查交流发电机和蓄电池充电是否正常工作。 如果蓄电池充电正常，电流表读数应该几乎为零。 所有蓄电池都应保持充电状态。 蓄电池应保持温暖，因为温度会影响盘车能力。 如果蓄电池太冷，蓄电池将无法盘车。 太冷的蓄电池，即使发动机在热态也不能盘机。 当发动机长时间不运转或只是短时间运转时，蓄电池可能未充足电。 充电低的蓄电池比充足电的蓄电池更容易冻结。
