New Bracket Assemblies Used In Lifter Group{1209,1281}
Usage:
3176 Truck Engines
Description of Change: New bracket assemblies are used in the lifter group. If the valve and/or injector push rods become dislodged from the valve train, the new brackets provide a shelf. The shelf prevents the push rods from coming in contact with the camshaft.
Adaptable To: The new 4P3726 and 4P3724 Bracket Assemblies are direct replacements for the former 7C4861 and 7C4863 Bracket Assemblies (both canceled). The new bracket assemblies are effective with 3176 (2YG9664, 7LG792) Truck Engines.
