Engine Oil Pan Plate - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Remove the engine oil pan.
- Remove the flywheel housing.

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Support engine oil pan plate (3). Remove bolts (2) and (4) and remove engine oil pan plate (3) and gasket (1).

- Install Tooling (A) to Positions (X) in the cylinder block.

Illustration 3 g01544893 Tooling (A) is not shown for clarity. - Apply a bead of Tooling (B) to Positions (Y).

Illustration 4 g01342059 - Position a new gasket (1) onto engine oil pan plate (3).
- Align engine oil pan plate (3) with Tooling (B). Install engine oil pan plate (3) to the cylinder block.
- Install bolts (2) and (4) and tighten to a torque of
22 N·m (195 lb in) .

- Install the engine oil pan.
