Usage:


3406B (PEEC) Truck Engines

An 8C9700 Rechargeable Portable Printer Group for use with the 8T8697 ECAP (Electronic Control Analyzer Programmer) is available for printing the information from this diagnostic tool. ECAP is for use on 3406B Truck Engines (8TC1-Up) with the PEEC (Programmable Electronic Engine Control).

The printer group includes an 80 column battery operated dot matrix printer, AC adapter/charger, roll of printer paper, and a cable all contained in a convenient carrying case. See illustration. The printer has both alphanumeric and graphics modes. It will operate from 120 Volts AC using the AC adapter, or will print continuously for 40 minutes using the internal batteries.

The items shown in the illustration are parts service items. Special Instruction SEHS8740 comes with the printer group.
