Description of Change: ECMP4.1 and EMCP4.2 configuration software updates for certain C4.4 and C6.6 Cat Generator Sets are performed to improve accuracy and functionality of the EMCP4.
Adaptable To: Update the EMCP4.1 and EMCP4.2 (.xml) configuration software file with the following proper engine warning and shutdown set point fault parameters:
Low Engine Oil Pressure Shutdown Event Threshold ... 180 kPa (26 psi)
Low Engine Oil Pressure Warning Event Threshold ... 200 kPa (29 psi)
High Engine Coolant Temperature Shutdown Event Threshold ... 112° C (234° F)
High Engine Coolant Temperature Warning Event Threshold ... 107° C (225° F)
Low Engine Coolant Temperature Warning Event Threshold ... 6° C (43° F)
Updates for the EMCP4 can be performed on the existing field population as needed, during a scheduled service or maintenance visit.
