Caterpillar has just announced a special Ambassador Club exclusively for Caterpillar and truck dealer personnel. The membership is part of the parent organization, "Caterpillar Truck Engine Owners Club", announced in January 1987. The Ambassador Club is the direct result of Caterpillar and truck dealer management asking to have their mechanics included. "The truck mechanic is very important to our regular club member. He is not only the first line of communication to the truck owner, but he is the one who sees repairs are done properly and at least cost-he is in control. We want him to be part of our club and know what literature and information his customer is receiving. The Ambassador membership does that " said President Jim Booth.
The Ambassador Club give the member "IN-ROADS" Newsletter and TRUCK ENGINE NEWS, plus a special newsletter "Ambassador Exchange", a tool box decal, uniform patch, the Ambassador's Creed (suitable for framing), annual opinion survey, all regular literature mailings sent to the Truck Engine Owners Club member, and an optional Ambassador's ball cap. All items are made in the U.S.A.
While Ambassador members do not receive all the benefits of the regular CTEOC membership such as insurance or a club jacket, future enhancements like a special Ambassador belt buckle may be added if response warrants.
For more information on the Ambassador membership, please contact the TEPS Manager at your local Caterpillar dealer.
