Location of the 377-9588 Magnetic Plug in the high-pressure fuel pump | |
If metallic debris collects in the sump of the high-pressure fuel pump, the debris can flow to the front gear train. The 377-9588 Magnetic Plug can be installed in the base of the pump in order to attract and retain ferrous debris.
The magnetic plug can be used in engines back to first production.
