A New Piston Is Used in Certain C18 Engines {1214, 1225}

Description of Change: The new piston is now guided by a full piston skirt. Also, the new piston design eliminates the oil trays from the previous piston design.
Adaptable To: The new 368-7818 Piston Body As and 368-7816 Piston Body As are a direct replacement in sets for the existing pistons in the serial numbers listed above. The change is adaptable back to first production. Refer to Table 1 for the compression ratios of the new part numbers.
