Description of Change: A newly designed seal with a metal sleeve is pressed onto the pump shaft to provide metal to metal connection, increasing the torque capability. The key way on the shaft was changed from an open end to a boxed end to avoid seal deformation during the pressing process.

Adaptable To: The new auxiliary sea water pump groups are a direct replacement for the existing pump groups. Refer to Table 1 for information on which new pump groups replace the existing groups.
