Do not disconnect equipment unless power has been disconnected or the area is known to be non-hazardous. Disconnecting equipment when the power is connected or when the area is hazardous may result in personal injury or death. |
- Loosen hose clamp (2) and disconnect hose (1) from breather assembly (3).
- Loosen band clamp (4) and remove breather assembly (3) from the valve mechanism cover. Remove the O-ring seal.

- Coat the bore for the O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation. Install the O-ring seal. Install breather assembly (3) and band clamp (4) on the valve mechanism cover. Tighten band clamp (4) to a torque of
4.5 ± 0.5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb in) . - Connect hose (1) to breather assembly (3) and tighten hose clamp (2).
