Position gear pump (25) and install bolts (24). Tighten bolts (24) to a torque of 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (23).

Position housing (22) and install bolts (21). Tighten bolts (21) to a torque of 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft).
Install tube assembly (20). Tighten tube assembly (20) to a torque of 42 ± 2 N·m (31 ± 2 lb ft).
Install tube assembly (19). Tighten tube assembly (19) to a torque of 172.5 ± 7.5 N·m (127 ± 6 lb ft).

Install O-ring seals (18), O-ring seal (17), and seal (16).

Apply Tooling (E) onto surface (X) and surface (Y) of the transmission housing.

Install oil pan (15). Install bolts (14). Tighten bolts (14) to a torque of 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft).

Install bolts (13). Tighten bolts (13) to a torque of 28 ± 7 N·m (21 ± 5 lb ft). Install bolts (12). Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 55 ± 10 N·m (41 ± 7 lb ft).

Attach Tooling (B), Tooling (C), and a suitable lifting device onto transmission and torque converter (6). The weight of transmission and torque converter (6) is approximately 590 kg (1300 lb).
Remove transmission and torque converter (6) from Tooling (D).

Remove Tooling (A) from the transmission housing.

If equipped with a rear PTO shaft, install bearing assembly (3) onto output shaft (4) and install retaining ring (2). Install bearing assembly output shaft (4) and bearing assembly (3). Install retaining ring (1).

End By:

Install the control manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Manifold - Install"
Install the retarder hydraulic control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Retarder Hydraulic Control Valve - Remove and Install".
