The cabinet rests on four cylindrical feet that are 40 mm (1.6 inch) in diameter. The feet are positioned in the four corners of the cabinet to distribute the weight of the cabinet evenly.
The cabinets are cooled by forced ventilation. The air enters via the doors and grids at the bottom and is discharged through the roof. The cabinets can be positioned against a back wall. A minimum clearance of 400 mm (15.75 inch) is required above the unit for airflow. A minimum clearance of 850 mm (33.5 inch) is required in front of the unit to allow the door to swing fully open.
Note: The NEC requires a distance of 900 mm (35.5 inch) for access to electrical equipment. Individual site requirements for blast zone or arc flash may require greater distances and should be determined by an engineer on the site.
