(1) Intake Air Temperature Sensor (Recirculated air) |
Intake air temperature sensor (1) is installed in the air inlet located on the lower left side of the cab behind the seat. The intake air temperature sensor converts the air temperature in the cab into a resistance. This resistance is converted into a voltage signal that is sent to the control module.

(2) Ambient Air Temperature Sensor (Fresh air) |
Ambient air temperature sensor (2) is installed above the fresh air inlet that is located on the left side of the cab. The ambient air temperature sensor converts the ambient air temperature into a resistance. This resistance is converted into a voltage signal that is sent to the control module.

(3) Evaporator sensor |
Evaporator sensor (3) is a semiconductor. When temperature increases, resistance decreases. On the other hand, when temperature decreases, resistance increases.
The evaporator sensor is located at the discharge side of the evaporator coil. The evaporator sensor detects the temperature of the cooled air as the air is discharged from the evaporator coil. The evaporator sensor then sends the signal back to the control module.
In order to prevent the evaporator from freezing, the control module controls the outlet temperature by switching the air conditioner clutch ON or OFF.

(4) Water Temperature Sensor |
Water temperature sensor (4) detects the temperature of the engine coolant that flows into the heater core. The sensor then sends the signal back to the control module. This sensor is located on the inlet line of the heater core.
