- If the assembly of the Rear Power Take-Off Drive is not necessary then proceed to Step 10.
- Use Tooling (F) and a suitable press in order to press inner race (16) into the adapter drive.

- Position retainer plate (15) and install bolts (14) .
- Position bearing (13) and spacer (12) onto drive gear (10). Use a suitable press, Tooling (F), and Tooling (G) in order to press the spacer and bearing into place.

- Position drive gear (10) and drive adapter (11) into place on a suitable press. Position bearing (9) (not shown) into place on drive gear (10). Use Tooling (F), Tooling (G), and a suitable press in order to install bearing (9) onto drive gear (10) .

- Install the lock and the locknut onto drive gear (10) .
- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to Rear Power Take-Off Drive (5). The weight of Rear Power Take-Off Drive (5) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Position Rear Power Take-Off Drive (5) and install bolts (8). Ensure that the locating dowel (X) is aligned.

- Use Tooling (A) in order to tighten locknut (6) to a torque of 406 ± 68 N·m (300 ± 50 lb ft). Bend the locking tabs on lock (7) into the slot of locknut (6) .
- Position cover (2) and install bolts (1) .
- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the Rear Power Take-Off Drive. The weight of the Rear Power Take-Off Drive is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Position the Rear Power Take-Off Drive and install bolts (4). Ensure that locating dowel (X) is aligned. Position cover (2) and install bolts (1) .
