(1) Torque for the plug ... 11 ± 2 N·m (8 ± 1 lb ft)

(2) Torque for the plug ... 95 ± 10 N·m (70 ± 7 lb ft)

(3) Torque for the actuator valve body cartridge ... 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft)

(3) Torque for the actuator nut ... 6.5 ± 0.5 N·m (5 ± 0.4 lb ft)

(4) Torque for the check valve ... 28 ± 3 N·m (21 ± 2 lb ft)

Note: Apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound on the tapered end of the hollow stud (5).

(5) Torque for the hollow stud ... 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft)

Thread the filter (1) onto the primary fuel filter base until contact is made. Turn the filter "3/4 turn" farther.

1. Remove the cap from the bottom of the filter assembly.

2. Remove the seal from the bottom of the cap. Discard the cap.

3. Lubricate the seal with clean engine oil.

4. Install the seal onto the groove of the bowl assembly.

5. Install the bowl assembly onto the threads at the bottom of the filter assembly.

(2) Torque for the bowl ... 10 N·m (89 lb in)
