- 请参阅图 1 并安装千分表。 在读取千分表上的读数之前，在曲轴上施加一个同方向的力。 目标是消除曲轴所有端的间隙。

检查飞轮的端面跳动 | |
- 设定千分表读数为 0.0 mm (0.00 in)。
- 以 90 度为间隔转动曲轴，读取千分表的读数。
- 记录所有四个测点的测量值。 对于直径为 25.4 mm (1.0 in) 的飞轮，测量值之间的差必须不能超过 0.013 mm (0.0005 in) 跳动量。
飞轮镗孔摆差（径向偏心度）

- 设定千分表读数为 0.0 mm (0.00 in)。
- 以 90 度为间隔转动曲轴，读取千分表的读数。
- 记录所有四个测点的测量值。 测量值之间的差不能超过飞轮最大允许跳动量（径向偏心度）的下列值。
飞轮 ... 0.15 mm (0.006 in)
- 使用前述步骤，测量导向轴承孔跳动（偏心度）。
