Usage:
D330C, D333C, 3304 And 3306 Marine Engines Equipped With A 3N3228 Raw Water Pump
A stronger wave washer is now used with the seal assembly in the 3N3228 Raw Water Pump for the above models. The stronger wave washer will prevent water leakage at the seal assembly. Also, a different procedure is used to machine the bearing bore in the pump housing. This new procedure prevents out-of-round bores. Formerly, it was possible for the bore to be machined out of round. This permitted water leakage.
