Neutral Lead (Wire No. 26) Eliminated On VR3 And VR4 Voltage Regulators {4453,4474}

Usage:

All Generator Sets So Equipped

Description of Change: All generator sets equipped with either the 7C1600 Voltage Regulator Assembly (VR3) or the 7C7557 Voltage Regulator Assembly (VR4) no longer have wire No. 26. This is the wire connected between terminal 26 on the voltage regulator and the neutral wire (T0) of the stator. It has been determined that this wire is not needed, so it is no longer used.

It should also be noted that without the neutral wire, meter readings are line-to-line (not line-to-neutral). If the application requires a neutral lead, a wire can be connected to wire TO from the stator.

Adaptable To: Wire No. 26 can be removed from earlier generators using either the 7C1600 or 7C7557 Regulator Assemblies.
