Two 11 mm Injectors Available For Parts Service{1250,1290}

Usage:

Earlier 3500 Family Of Engines

Reference: Service Magazine; January 19, 1987; Page 6; "Fuel Injector Reference For 3500 Family Of Engines".

The up-rated 3500 Family Of Engines use 10.7 mm injectors (plunger diameter). Now, two of these 10.7 mm injectors are being serviced with special 1 mm injectors. These 11 mm injectors are for parts service only.

The new parts service injectors can be installed as direct replacements for the former injectors, either individually or in complete sets. It is not necessary to change the fuel setting or injector timing when these parts service injectors are installed.

NOTE: Generally, injectors with different part numbers have different fuel delivery rates and cannot be intermixed in an engine. However, the two new 11 mm injectors in the preceding list have minor design differences from the former injectors, and the delivery rate is the same as for the former 10.7 mm injectors. The new injectors can be used as direct replacements for only the part numbers shown, and cannot be used for replacement of other part numbers, including other 11 mm injectors.
