Introduction

The following problem does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Some Industrial 475 horsepower C15 engines that operate in petroleum applications have issues with long response times to demands of the throttle.

Solution

As a temporary fix, flash 280-3500 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp flashed to the Electronic Control Module (ECM). This should help improve response times of the throttle.
