New Starter Lines Group and Prelube Pump Group Are Used {1319, 1451}

Description of Change: The new lines groups are acceptable for use on the above engines that are in petroleum applications. These lines groups meet the petroleum industry standards. The new pump is more rugged and the duration of prelubrication is reduced.

Adaptable To: For the new lines groups, the connection point is a three inch American National Standards Institute (ANSI) flange. This flange is located 48 inches in front of the flywheel on the in-line engines. This flange is located 60 inches in front of the flywheel on the vee engines.

The 326-2623 Prelubrication Oil Pump Group incorporates the 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor. The new pump group uses the existing 324-9181 Gear Pump Group and the 9Y-3297 Bracket As .

The 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor operates in the same pressure range as the currently used starting motors.

The 7W-0522 Air Motor Lubricator Gp, the 4W-2100 Pressure Reducing Valve, the 165-7805 Air Relief Valve, and the 302-2199 Relay Valve are no longer required in the prelube system.

The 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor can be adapted to the 1W-4776 Prelubrication Oil Pump Group. This change will replace 3N-1287 Prelubrication Motor that is currently used. The new 322-2734 Prelubrication Motor is approximately 140 mm (5.50 inches) longer than the 3N-1287 Prelubrication Motor .
