An improved information display is now available for certain Cat^® products. The improved display ensures that the display will start up normally in temperatures below 0° C (32.0° F).

The serial number can be interpreted with the first four-digit numbers in the serial number label. Ex: 1707= The 170th day of 2017 (refer to Illustration 1).

The affected part numbers are listed in the Table 1.

If the existing display exhibits a lockup condition during start-up, warm the display to greater than 0° C (32.0° F) and restart the machine. If the display does not boot normally, replace with same part number which will be the improved part.

The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers.
