An Improved Method of Mounting the Air Compressor Is Now Used {1803}

Description of Change: A new stud replaces one bolt of the mounting group for the air compressor on the engines that are listed above.

Inspect 247-5712 Bracket As (1) for cracks. Torque the bolts and the nut (2) to the standard torque. The replacement of 174-9599 Stud (3) for one 0S-1594 Bolt becomes effective on (S/N: WJH01673-UP).
The new stud is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines.
