Fuel Related Components in Cold Weather

使用结构简单但适用的燃油加热器。 燃油加热器还应防止燃油过热。 燃油温度高降低发动机性能。 选择加热表面尽可能大但又很实用的燃油加热器。 小加热器可能会在其有限的表面周围过热。
天热时,断开燃油加热器或使其不起作用。 热交换型燃油加热器应该有旁通装置以防止温暖天气操作时发生过热现象。
本发动机只使用恒温控制的燃油加热器或自我调节的燃油加热器。 非恒温控制的燃油加热器可能把燃油加热到超过 65 °C (149 °F)。 如果供油温度超过 29°C (85°F,发动机便可能发生功率损失)。
