The revised warranty for Caterpillar Remanufactured Parts and Components used in on-highway vehicle applications was effective June 1, 1987. The warranty period has been increased from 6 months to 12 months or 162,000 km (100,000 mi) or 3600 operating hours, whichever occurs first, starting from the date of purchase by the first user.
