Diesel Exhaust Fluid Tank - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Partially tilt the cab.
- Ensure that the purge process for the DEF system is completed before turning the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch" for further information.

- Disconnect hose assembly (1), hose assembly (2), hose (3), and hose (4).

Illustration 2 g06221660 - Cut cable strap (6) and disconnect harness assembly (5). Remove nut (7) and nut (8). Place the hoses out of the way.

- Install diesel exhaust fluid tank (12) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of
12 ± 2 N·m (106 ± 18 lb in)
- Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of
