The power train has two oil pumps that are located in transfer gear case (2). This is a two-section pump. The transmission scavenge pump section (4) is on the cover end. The transmission charging pump section (3) is on the gear end. The pump is driven by the transmission input gear which is located inside transfer gear case (2). The oil for the scavenge section flows from the transfer gear case housing through the scavenge line screen (5). The scavenge pump (4) sends the oil to the differential and bevel gear case. The oil for transmission charging pump section (3) flows from the differential and bevel gear case. The oil flows through magnetic screen (6), pump (3) and transmission filter (1) to the transmission control group. This oil is then directed to the pressure control group. Part of this oil flows to the transmission clutches. Part of this oil flows to the torque converter inlet valve.
