Dust Collector Filters - Replace - If Equipped
Change the air filter elements every 500 hours or when any of the following conditions occurs:
- Dust can be seen coming from the dust collector exhaust.
- The performance of the dust collector system is decreased significantly.

- Park the machine on level ground.
- Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position.
- Release latches (2).
- Open lid with outside handle (1).
- Use the following procedure to replace each filter element.
- Inspect the filter elements (3) for excessive wear and damage.
- Inspect condition of the internal components inside the dust box. If wear or sand blasting is present, a detailed inspection may be necessary.
- Clean out any built up dirt or dust inside the dust box and drop out chutes.
- Replace any worn or damaged components. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual for additional information.
- Install the new filter elements.
- Close the dust collector lid using inside handles (4) and secure the latches (2). Ensure that the drop-out chutes are in good order to maintain proper suction.
