Piston Pump (Implement) - Remove and Install

Usage:

973 MKL

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Fully tilt the cab.

  2. Remove the control manifold (return).

  3. Remove the left hydrostatic piston pump.

  1. Disconnect hose assembly (1).

  2. Disconnect hose assembly (2) and hose assembly (3).

  3. Remove tube assembly (4). Remove two bolts (6) and clip (5).

  4. Attach a suitable lifting device to implement piston pump stack (7). The weight of implement piston pump stack (7) is approximately 163 kg (360 lb).

  5. Remove six bolts (8). Remove implement piston pump stack (7).

  6. Loosen bolt (11) and remove hub assembly (9). Remove O-ring seal (10).

  7. Remove bolts (13) and adapter (12) from implement piston pump stack (7).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install implement piston pump stack (7) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Install hub assembly (9) flush with the end of the pump shaft.

    2. Tighten bolt (11) to a torque of 295 ± 20 N·m (218 ± 15 lb ft).
