Diagnostic Code Cross Reference

Usage:

C32 RNE
Problems with the electronic control system can be reported via flash codes or diagnostic trouble codes. Flash codes provide an indication of a problem with a specific engine subsystem. Diagnostic trouble codes provide information on the engine subsystem and information that is related to the failure mode of the problem.

Table 1 and Table 2 lists the cross-reference information that is necessary to locate the circuit test that will assist in diagnosing electrical problems for the engine subsystems. In order to diagnose a problem with a flash code that is known, locate the flash code in the table and perform the related circuit test that is listed.
