Electric Drive Pump (Powered Stairway) Oil Level - Check - If Equipped

The oil level sight gauge for the powered stairway electric drive pump is located on the front of the powered stairway platform. The sight gauge is visible through an inspection slot in the protective cover that surrounds the sight gauge.
- Check the oil level of the electric drive pump by viewing oil level sight gauge (2) through the inspection slot.
- Maintain the oil volume at a level that is visible within the range of the inspection slot. The top of the inspection slot is the maximum oil level and the bottom of the inspection slot is the minimum oil level.
Note: Do not operate the powered stairway when the oil volume is below the minimum oil level.
- If necessary, remove filler cap (1) and add oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for information concerning the correct type of oil to use.
