Radiator - Remove and Install - Separate Circuit

Usage:

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the front bottom guard.

  2. Remove the coolant tank.

------ WARNING! ------

Personal injury can result from hot coolant, steam and alkali.

At operating temperature, engine coolant is hot and under pressure. The radiator and all lines to heaters or the engine contain hot coolant or steam. Any contact can cause severe burns.

Remove cooling system pressure cap slowly to relieve pressure only when engine is stopped and cooling system pressure cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Do not attempt to tighten hose connections when the coolant is hot, the hose can come off causing burns.

Cooling System Coolant Additive contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

  1. Remove clamp assemblies (3). Remove four bolts (2) and bolt (4) and remove the guard.

  2. Open grill door (5).

  3. Repeat Steps (1) and (2) for the opposite side.

  4. Remove two side baffle bolts (6).

  5. Remove four bolts (7) and three top baffle bolts (8).

  6. Remove clips (10) and position the hoses out of the way.

  7. Remove bracket (9).

  8. Remove bracket assemblies (11). Disconnect hose assembly (12).

  9. Remove all clips (14) and bolts (13) connecting plate (15). Remove plate (15).

  10. Disconnect hoses (17) and hose (18) from radiator (16).

  11. Remove bolts (18). Remove radiator (16).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install radiator (16) in the reverse order of removal.
