Description of Change: A new torque value is now used for the HVAC cover assembly on the machine that is listed in this article. This change will enhance the durability of the component.
Adaptable To: The torque for the mounted bolts on 296-6748 Cover As is 4.5 N·m (3.32 lb ft). This torque value replaces the previous 6 N·m (4.43 lb ft). Replace 296-6748 Cover As that have cracks with the same part number.
The effectivity for this change is adaptable to M5K1-298 and effective with M5K299-UP.
