New Component Code List For Use In The Service Information Retrieval System{0331,0374}

Usage:

The Service Information Retrieval System uses 4-digit SMCS codes to make it possible to show all the printed material in a meaningful numerical sequence in the Microfiche Master Index. The meaning of these codes can be found in the Service Management Bulletin, "Codes for the Service Management Control System", Form No. SEBF3005. A new issue of this Bulletin, which was printed in April, 1977, has additional codes for the new products Caterpillar has made available during the last year. You will need copies of this new list for each of the Service Information Retrieval Systems in your shop. Order the Bulletin on a Miscellaneous Material Order Form.

New issue of CODES FOR THE SERVICE MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM is available. You need this new list to use with the Service Information Retrieval System.
