New Fuel Nozzle Assembly Available{1254}

Usage:

All 1100 and 3100 Series Engines;
613 Tractor;
225 Excavator with 3100 Series Engines

Description of Change: A new fuel nozzle is available for the above engines. This new nozzle has a screw-type pressure adjustment. The nozzle used formerly had shim-type pressure adjustment. The change was made to give pressure adjustments similar to those of the fuel nozzles in 3208 engines.

Adaptable As: The 9N2366 Fuel Injection Nozzle Assembly is a direct replacement for the 9L7883 Nozzle Assembly, which is canceled. The new nozzle assembly has pressure and lift screws similar to those in the 9L6969 Nozzle Assembly used on 3208 Engines.

NOTE: The test specifications for the new nozzle are the same as for the former nozzle. Check the 3208 Service Manuals, "Testing 9L6969 Fuel Nozzles", to adjust the pressure with the new screw-type adjustment.
