New Socket Assembly To Tighten The Bolts That Fasten The Sleeve Levers To The Sleeve Shaft{0621,1250}

Usage:

All Engines Equipped With Sleeve Metering Fuel Systems

When the sleeve levers are adjusted correctly, the bolts that fasten them to the sleeve shaft(s) must be tightened to a torque of 24 ± 2 lb in (2.70 ± 0.25 N·m). A 5P7253 Socket Assembly is now available to tighten these bolts to the correct torque. Formerly, the only tool available for this purpose was an Allen wrench. It was difficult to use an Allen wrench and it was possible to tighten the bolts to a wrong torque. The use of a torque wrench with a 3/8" drive and the 5P7253 Socket Assembly prevents this.

The 5P7252 Bit is available separately so a complete 5P7253 Socket Assembly does not have to be ordered if the bit breaks. The 5P7253 Socket Assembly is adaptable to all 9/64" hex socket screws.
