Description of Change: A new piston pin bearing is used in connecting rod assemblies for the above engines. The new bearing is made by an improved procedure at the factory, and also has improved material specifications. These improvements will extend bearing service life.
Adaptable As: Direct replacement. The new 7N4332 Bearing can be used in place of the former 8L3440 Bearing, which is canceled. The new bearing is in effect on engines with the serial numbers shown in the chart.
