Improved Mounting For Expansion Tank{1354,1379,1380}

Usage:

3208 Marine Engines

Description of Change: Starting with serial number 75V2470, a new expansion tank group with an improved mounting was installed to decrease stresses in the tank and brackets. This prevents possible cracks in the expansion tank and alignment problems which were more probable with the former mounting. A new water lines group and heat exchanger group were also installed.

NOTE: If this change is made to earlier engines, make sure the tube bundle is changed. The new tube bundle has five baffles and the former four baffles which control the water flow direction. Only the tube bundle from the heat exchanger group is shown in the parts chart because it must be changed for any field conversion.

Adaptable To: All earlier 3208 Marine Engines when all of the parts in the chart that follows are installed.
