Transportation Notice Plate Is No Longer Needed For Pressurized Nitrogen Cylinders{7557}

Usage:

Permits for pressurized nitrogen cylinders are no longer required in the United States if the cylinders meet the minimum design criteria established by the United States government. Cylinders which are part of new Caterpillar machines or sold by Caterpillar Tractor Co. for parts replacement meet these design requirements. Therefore, the permits and also the 1S4812 Transportation Notice Plate are no longer required for machines with nitrogen cylinders that were manufactured by or for Caterpillar Tractor Co. The 1S4812 Plates can be removed from these machines in the United States to avoid confusion or unnecessary requests for the permits.
